International Theosophical Creative Arts Awards (ITCAA)The International Theosophical Creative Arts Awards is a new annual global initiative dedicated to revitalising the creation of original Theosophical works in literature and the creative arts. For nearly 150 years, Theosophy has enriched humanity through profound ethical and spiritual teachings expressed in books, journals, lectures, and works of art, inspiring generations of seekers, writers, artists, and thinkers around the world. Building on this remarkable legacy, the International Theosophical Creative Arts Awards (ITCAA) seeks to encourage a new flourishing of original creative expression inspired by the ageless wisdom. By recognising excellence, supporting emerging talent, and fostering innovation across the arts and literature, the ITCAA aims to inspire a vibrant new generation of creators who will bring these enduring ideals to contemporary audiences. Vision: To advance Theosophical education by encouraging, recognising, and celebrating excellence in literature and the creative arts, fostering works that illuminate the timeless principles of the ancient wisdom and contribute to the ethical, cultural, and spiritual enrichment of humanity. Mission: To encourage, recognise, celebrate, and reward books, films, documentaries, animations, paintings, and other creative works that embody the timeless ideals of Theosophy, inspire and uplift humanity, and contribute to its ethical, cultural, and spiritual advancement.

01. International Short Film Award
Honours outstanding short films from 5 to 20 minutes (including credits)
02. Animation & Creative Media Award
Honours outstanding animation and AI-generated creative works from 5 to 20 minutes (including credits).
03. International Documentary Award
Honours outstanding documentaries from 10 to 60 minutes (including credits)
04. Theosophical Book Award
Honours outstanding published or unpublished books (fiction or non-fiction) that creatively and originally explore Theosophy and the Ancient Wisdom.
Special emphasis is placed on works that illuminate its ethical teachings, spiritual awakening, enlightenment, compassion, universal love, kindness toward all beings and forms of life, and siblinhood, while offering profound, accessible insights into navigating grief, sorrow, loss, and other contemporary life challenges, inspiring readers to live with greater wisdom, purpose, and inner peace.
Rules & Regulations
1. Eligibility
The Awards are open to creators worldwide.
Works must be original and completed within the last three (3) years.
The submitter must own the full copyright of the work.
2. Originality and Copyright
All entries must be the original work of the entrant. Plagiarized or infringing works will be disqualified.
Copyright remains fully with the creator at all times.
3. Screening & Promotional Rights
By submitting your work to the ITCAA, you grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license for a period of three (3) years to:
Screen the work (in full or excerpts) during the Awards Ceremony and related official events.
Use excerpts for promotional purposes on the official ITCAA website and social media channels.
Online Screening: Selected winning and finalist works may be screened online through the official ITCAA website or a dedicated ITCAA YouTube channel. However, we will respect requests from creators who prefer their full work not to be uploaded publicly on YouTube. Such requests must be clearly indicated during the submission process.
4. Publication Rights (Books & Short Stories)
The ITCAA may publish excerpts from winning or finalist books and short stories for promotional purposes. Full books or short stories will not be published without a separate written agreement with the author.
5. Category Requirements
International Theosophical Book Award: Published or unpublished books (fiction or non-fiction), minimum 40 pages.
International Documentary Award: 10 to 60 minutes (including credits).
International Short Film Award: 5 to 20 minutes (including credits). Colour or black & white accepted.
International Animation & AI Creative Media Award: 5 to 20 minutes (including credits).
International Short Story Award: Maximum 7,500 words.
6. Submission Process
All submissions must be made through the official online form and upload link on this website.
Entrants may submit up to three (3) works per category.
A submission fee may apply.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
7. General Conditions
Jury decisions are final.
By submitting, you agree to the use of your name and work excerpts for publicity related to the Awards.
